Norlii Scandinavian Home & Lifestyle Box February 2020 Review
1 of 4
Norlii has a "Simplicity and Beauty" bathroom theme for February, and it features Danish designer Mette Ditmer.

Mette Ditmer Lotus Tumbler in Olive – Retail Value $21.00
The first item in the box this month is a ceramic tumbler coated in a soft matte rubber to give it a comfortable feel on the outside. I love the minimal design here and I can think of many uses for it such as holding toothbrushes and toothpaste, makeup brushes, or other tools for use at my vanity. The color in the photos seems a little more green than it looks in person. I find it to be a little more muted and almost grey in my home.

Bonus: Dried Flower Bouquet
Norlii was kind enough to send a small bouquet of dried flowers with each order to use the tumbler as a vase if you so desire. What a delicate touch to the bathroom this makes!

Mette Ditmer Lotus Soap Pump in Black – Retail Value $59.00
The next piece for the bathroom is this handsome yet chubby pump that can be used for soap or lotion. It's made with ceramic just like the tumbler and has the same soft rubberized finish to it, just in black. The pump itself is a sturdy matte black metal and it overall has a nice weight to it. I can't decide what to use mine for, but I'm leaning towards lotion on my bedside table instead of a soap pump in the bathroom since my sink is so small. Another great example of the minimal Scandinavian design I'd expect to see in Norlii.

Mette Ditmer Boudoir Towels, set of 2 – Estimated Retail Value $27.00 (similar here)
Lastly, but perhaps my favorite item of the month is a set of striped hand towels from the same designer. The stripes alternate white, black, and have a wider greyish olive stripe that matches the tumbler. The ends of the towels are trimmed in a lovely marigold color that gives a pop of color to the neutrals. Each towel is 16 x 24 inches which is perfect to hang in the bathroom to dry your hands or even your face after cleansing. They are incredibly soft and plush and are made with 100% cotton in Europe. There is even a cute little loop at the corner of each towel to hang it by. A perfect little set.
Verdict:I am in love with this month's Norlii box. It reminds me a lot of my very first Norlii box back in September of 2018 which also had a bathroom theme that I was also just wild about. I'm a huge fan of all three items this month and am so glad the towels came as a set of two! This is the pinnacle of a wonderfully curated box, in my opinion. All of the items are minimally designed with rich neutral colors and all of them serve a purpose. Just fantastic! This $76.95 box has a retail value of $107, not to mention that I never would have discovered these items on my own here in Pittsburgh.
